  We come here once or twice a year as we travel from Ohio to Florida. The menu is unique and always excellent. Great service and great food. We'll be back! It is kind of hard to find but worth the look.

  Apparently this place is pretty good with most folks. I guess I'm just not most folks. I went in for lunch on an unusually cool morning, and the restaurant was just about as cool on the inside. Initially, service was very slow but when the staff seemed to get organized things started moving very smoothly.
  
  I guess as a diabetic I should not expect to see very many low carb items on a menu at a restaurant called the Sweet Tea Grille. I ended up getting their lunch special which included two white pieces of fried chicken, and two sides. I opted for the grits and the sweet potato casserole for my sides. The food came out so fast, it had to have been prepared about an hour in advance. The chicken seem to have the right temperature, but it was a little overcooked and hence a bit dry. The flavor was okay. Both of my sides were moderately warm. With the exception of the lunch specials, the prices seem to be a little bit on the upper side of average.
  
  In all honesty, my recommendation would probably be to to go to Bojangles down the street for chicken or Cheddar's at the next exit South for steak.

  Best sweet tea and pecan pie in the south. Our entries were fantastic. Did I mention that the cornbread was awesome . We will be back.
